First these are chemically cleaned and chemically
stripped. Then they are repaired and polished. They are sent
to the electroplater for copper plating. The copper plating is quite
thick and gives us more metal to work with. The copper plated
reflectors come back to the workshop for more repairs and are then highly
polished.
Severe pitting can be
rectified in this manner.
Only when they are perfect, they go back to the
electroplaters to be nickel plated.
